A litte bit about me…
I was born in Texas, raised in Arkansas, and found myself in California for college. After graduating during the peak of the pandemic, my now husband and I spent two years working abroad in the Maldives and San José del Cabo.
We adopted our beloved pup, Scout, in Mexico before returning home to San Luis Obispo, one of my favorite places on the planet. When I'm not working, you’ll catch me at the beach, hiking, wine tasting, tending to my many houseplants, or in the kitchen on my sourdough journey.
When I was four I told my grandma I was going to be an artist when I grew up. Through dabbling in photography, hospitality, and marketing roles, I feel as though I finally found my true calling and a way to express my creativity.
My career began in the service industry working at hotels, restaurants, and wineries. This hospitality foundation combined with my project management and marketing background, ensures I’ve always been behind the scenes making sure things run smoothly.
Planning my own wedding sparked a passion for event design, so I jumped right in and started working for a wedding planner, and the rest is history. My friends and family like to tease me about how much I love organization, but I call it my superpower.
Emma Lou was one of my nicknames growing up, and honestly, it was the only one cute enough to inspire a business name.
